Our sustainability programme is the world’s first fully integrated programme for white fish and tilapia breeding.
Responsible fish farms should create jobs and improve the standard of living of the inhabitants of impoverished local communities. The development of local infrastructure and the protection of lakes threatened by deforestation should also create community awareness of the importance of environmental management.
Environmentally friendly measures are a top priority at Regal Springs®. We know that high-quality fish comes from high-quality waters. We fulfil this expectation by making it our core task to keep the environmental impact as low as possible, in addition to responsible fish farming.
The breeding of our premium tilapia is carried out in floating cages in lakes, which are not only subject to our own programmes for the safety of water quality but are also monitored and controlled by supervisory authorities.
