Regal Springs is attending Seafood Expo Global 2024!

With a new year comes a new schedule of seafood events — full of exciting opportunities to learn, connect and educate more people about the latest developments in the aquaculture industry.

There’s a long list of exhibitions and conferences we look forward to attending in the coming months, but one always stands out in the show calendar: Seafood Expo Global (SEG).

Our team will return to Barcelona in April 2024 for the world’s largest seafood trade event, where we’ll join thousands of other industry pioneers, customers and supporters to discuss a range of topical issues and opportunities…

Celebrating seafood excellence

The Barcelona seafood show never fails to offer a dynamic programme of educational sessions, vibrant stands and engaging discussions about today’s seafood business environment.

Last year was a record-breaking affair, with over 34,000 buyers, producers and other seafood professionals from 150 countries gathering in one place to meet suppliers and discover new products.

Organisers expect an even larger turnout for the 2024 show, attracting sector representatives and media outlets from around the world to network and share the latest insights.

Held at the impressive Fira Barcelona Gan Via venue, the programme will feature an array of special events — from sponsored presentations and awards to speeches from respected experts, with more details to be revealed over the coming months.

The 2024 conference is set to focus on a range of crucial topics, including:

Aquaculture.

Corporate social responsibility.

Food safety and compliance policy.

Seafood business/marketplace.

Seafood sustainability.

Traceability and transparency.

Plastics and climate change as it relates to seafood.

As a top producer of responsibly farmed tilapia products, Regal Springs is looking forward to contributing to the discourse surrounding these pivotal topics and joining other seafood leaders in calling for greater accountability and control within the aquaculture sector.

Spokespeople from our international teams will be in Barcelona for the duration of the conference, which will run on 23 April (12:00–17:15), 24 April (10:45–17:15) and 25 April (10:45–13:00).

We’re thrilled to announce that Regal Springs will have its very own stand at the upcoming Barcelona seafood show! Visitors will find us at booth 2B300 in Hall 2.

As an exhibitor, we’ll have the chance to connect with even more seafood vendors and customers, helping us raise awareness of the global Regal Springs brand and educate new and existing buyers about all the benefits of our nutritious, delicious tilapia products.

During the 2023 conference, Regal Springs announced the upcoming launch of two new products for US customers: our beer-battered and panko-coated tilapia. These were the first products to be marketed under the Regal Springs brand and received plenty of interest from attendees — an exciting development reflecting the increasing demand for responsibly raised seafood.

This demand has continued to grow over the past year, and so have our aquaculture operations as a result. At SEG 2024, we hope to reveal some of the new products and partnerships we have in the pipeline for the months ahead to allow more global consumers to taste our award-winning tilapia fish.
